It goes without saying that mothers are the cultivators of so much for their offspring, and in some cases, others offspring as well. Mothers are celebrated, as exhibited to the fanfare around the day honoring them. I will spare you a haiku of how mothers are the greatest and love, etc. Just know that this shoot featured an incredible woman, who was soon to be an incredible mother. This work was as much a labor of love as it was a vie for attention to my work and the stories behind it all.

To all the mothers, looking to leave something, anything, everything, for their children, you are love.

anger, or celebrate freely in most situations she chooses to put herself in. Do more to cultivate that comfort.

The covenant we create with those that share similar experiences (mindset, fashion, etc.) can be magical. As an observer, to watch the interactions these people share is a treat in and of itself. In a world that holds no reservations on how poorly they can treat WOC, when you see a bond this solid, you are privy to some of the most amazing display of character you are going to be a spectator of. Respect it.
